Hu Xijin (Chinese: 胡锡进; born 7 April 1960) is a Chinese journalist and the former editor-in-chief and party secretary of the Global Times, a tabloid under the auspices of the Chinese Communist Party's official People's Daily newspaper. He has been accused of being a political propagandist and described as an early adopter of China's "wolf warrior" communication strategy of aggressively hitting back at criticism of the country. from Wikipedia
